Hello again helmet heads, and welcome back to the ol' Coldstove!!!! What a Monday night it was. It looks like the No so Mellow Yellow have first place all wrapped up for this season, but the rest of the race is heating up with the losing teams kicking it up a notch, and "Mad Dog" Donny Warren providing us all with the hope that hey ... anyone can do it if he can. The team of the week had to be the White Knights. We don't normally have a team of the week, but hey they broke a TEN game losing streak. They are still in last place, but remember everyone makes the playoffs, and we only have three games left in the regular season. Who knows eh? There was a tie for offensive player of the week. Ryan DePorter was flying last night. He had two goals to lead the White Knights to a very rare victory. Maybe he should be deported if he keeps this kind of stuff up. "Mad Dog" Donny Warren scored the winning goal for the Red Menace. Okay, okay...... he had another puck bounce off of him and find the net to give the Red squad an unexpected win over the Men in Black. The guy should have been a backboard in basketball, so many things bounce off of him and find the net. Geeez......... give me a break here. There was also a tie for defensive player of the week. Two crazy guys who stand between the pipes and let people shoot projectiles at them week after week share the honour. They both had shutouts when people decided it would be more fun to just shoot at them than try to get the puck behind them. The great houdini guy himself Ryan Smith of the Red squad and Johnny "Shellshocked" VanKessel of the White Knights, both earned shutouts by getting hit more times than most guys would allow. This coming Monday in the early game the Mighty Green Machine try not to get busted by the Boys in Blue. In the middle game the puck drops between the winning White Knights and the Red Menace. In the late game the Men in Black hope not to get sent into outer space when they face off against the Not so Mellow Yellow. That's it for another week from the ol' Coldstove. Don't forget if you have any complaints, you can email me at c.d.clark@hotmail.com. I'll see you Monday night, if you have your head up. Keep you stick on the ice, and your beer too, but please don't drink and drive, Chuck.

Hey guys with the end of the season so near it's time we all start talking about what we would like to do to celebrate. We could do a golf tourney, a pub crawl, a bus trip, or maybe you have another idea you would like to share. Talk it over with your team, and let Drew or Richard know. Thanks,
Chuck.
